What has happened to 3Dami?

The 3Dami team are taking a break this year, and will be back in 2025 running an animation summer camp.

Where has the artwork gallery/portfolio gone?

We're currently re-building that part of the website, so it will be back soon!

What software can I use?

You can use any software you like, please see our Resources page for our recommendations.

Can I use copyrighted material?

You must use royalty free music that can be distributed online without copyright infringement.

Is there a theme for this year's competition?

The theme for this year is "GROWTH" to be used as inspiration, the judges will not score based on this theme.

We've created an animation as a team, how do we submit our film?

This year we are not accepting group project. These awards are for the best animator, not the best team.

You may collaborate with others for voice-overs or music, this must be credited.

Is there anything not allowed in my animation?

Your animation be like a film categorised as U or PG rating. If your film contains swearing or extereme violence it will not be considered.

Can I use a friend's music or voice-recording?

Yes as long as you have permission from them.
